We Shape the Future | version 1.0 – September 2026
These terms apply to individual community, alumni and network events organised by We Shape the Future and supplement the General Terms and Conditions of We Shape the Future. The General Terms and Conditions can be found here.
For each community event, a separate registration is required, even if you already have an annual community or alumni pass. A place is definitively reserved once We Shape the Future has confirmed the registration. Participation is always subject to available capacity.
The annual community or alumni contribution is €150 per year and provides access to the majority of the regular community events organised by We Shape the Future.
This annual access includes all regular gatherings that last no longer than one part of a day or half a day, such as masterclasses, workshops and inspirational sessions, including any lunch or closing drinks when these are part of the programme.
For each event, a separate registration remains necessary so that We Shape the Future can take capacity, catering and group size into account.
We Shape the Future also occasionally organises more extensive events and programmes that fall outside the annual community access. This may apply to a full-day programme, a multi-day intensive course or retreat, or a special event with substantially higher organisational costs.
When an additional participant contribution applies to an event, this will always be clearly stated in advance in the invitation and at the time of registration.
If you unexpectedly cannot attend, please let us know as soon as possible by email.

This arrangement is intended to handle reserved places, catering and organisational costs responsibly while still allowing for a reasonable and human approach.
If you have an annual community or alumni pass of €150, the regular events described in article 2 are included. Since a place is reserved for each registration and costs are often incurred for catering and organisation, a cancellation arrangement also applies here.

This contribution is not a penalty, but a reasonable charge for the reserved place and costs already incurred.
If you are unable to attend yourself, you may transfer your place to someone else in consultation with We Shape the Future. Please notify us in advance by email so the participant registration can be adjusted. The replacement participant must fit the target group of the event in question.
In the case of serious illness or other unforeseen personal circumstances, we ask you to contact us as soon as possible. We Shape the Future assesses each situation carefully and may, if there is reason to do so, depart from these cancellation conditions to a reasonable extent.
We Shape the Future reserves the right to change, move or cancel an event when circumstances make this necessary, for example due to insufficient participants, illness of a speaker or force majeure. When a paid standalone event is cancelled by We Shape the Future and no suitable alternative is offered, the participation fee already paid will be refunded.
